About: Started skating in 1969 on a Black Night with clay wheels and loose ball bearings. Began competing in 1975. Was a top amateur skater (sponsored by Sims, Pepsi, & G & S) from 1976 thru 1979. The last of the original La Costa racers that is still actively racing today at age 61. 4-time World Champion in slalom ( 2 in Czech Rep, 2 in Canada), and several National titles.
